My Journey with the Cards
Discovering a faded red book in my grandmother's kitchen drawer at the age of five sparked a lifelong fascination. It contained fortune-telling cards unlike any other, passed down through generations. These weren't just any cards; they were a bridge to the past, a tool my grandmother used to glimpse into the future. As I grew, so did my curiosity and respect for these cards and the book, written in the cryptic old German script that only my grandmother could decipher.
About Seni - Horoscope
The creator of these cards, Giovanni Battista Seni, served as the astrologer to Albrecht von Wallenstein during the tumultuous Thirty Years' War. Seni's cards are a rare gem, combining astrology and the zodiac in a unique divination system that requires the cards to be spread and merged, revealing answers and destinies intertwined with the cosmos.

The Vision
My mission is to faithfully reproduce this rare treasure, ensuring every detail from the original art to the slight wear of time is captured, offering both a piece of history and a functional fortune-telling deck. This project isn't just about preservation; it's about revival, bringing Seni's wisdom to a new generation.
The Cards & Their Legacy
With 36 cards, each bearing four halves of celestial illustrations, the deck is a window to a bygone era and a testament to the enduring human quest for knowledge and guidance. My restoration efforts aim to maintain their authentic antique charm while ensuring durability for future generations.

Tracing its lineage back through a tapestry of hands, the guidebook is a crucial component of this project. Beyond mere instructions, it's a narrative spanning continents and centuries, from a German woman to a French lady, and finally to Seni. The restoration process involves meticulous care to replicate the original's historic essence, making it accessible without sacrificing its soul.
